As Missouri struggles with the epidemic of opioid abuse, no place in the state has been hit harder than St. Louis.
The Goal:
To create a logo that would brand the new Opioid project St. Louis County of Health Department was tackling. This logo is shared on documents, websites, and other platforms that they display the information of this problem they want to address.
The Solution:
I wanted to get away from the logo to look like an actual pill so I played with an x concept but it didn't get me far. I went back with the circle option and used watercolor to symbolize that we are dissolving this current problem.

These were the final marks that were pitched. I chose to use watercolor for the mark to portray the disintegrating of the pill much clearer. As for the x logo mark, it was quickly tossed out for it being to negative, thus the circle was picked.
