have you ever wondered what's on the Other Side of a painting?
What was behind the artist while he was painting that painting? Even if the painting is abstract, symbolist, expressionist, figurative, etc...
I WANTED TO DO WHAT NOBODY HAD DONE BEFORE!
Using the Computer Graphics, I tried to realize what can be on the "Other Side" of a painting.
Every single work is the result of weeks of study of the artist and of the painting in question, of his historical period, of his artistic current and of his environment; then through computer graphics, I worked transforming myself into the various artists from time to time, using the same style, almost becoming like them, feeling like them. As if the artist had created a last painting, which represents the "Other Side" of the painting in question.
I worked in such a way that, if the artist was still alive and saw “his new painting", he would appreciate it. I hope so!
