There is a new trend developing in Western countries where the hosts at weddings give out miniature alcohol bottles as wedding favours to the guests. I set out to redesign the miniature bottle keeping the scenario of the wedding in mind. I wanted a form that was simple and aesthetic, and could serve as a collectible long after the contents of the bottle were gone. I also wanted to incorporate the design principles of movement and balance in my design.
I made my prototypes out of foil and paper. To gain a better understanding of the final look of my design, I also made 3D models of my design in Fusion 360. I rendered them in clear glass and frosted glass for the body, and aluminium for the cap.
