I've developed a few more skills since I first posted "Dodge and Burn," which you can see in this portfolio. That first version ran live in our newspaper. For this latest iteration, the project was part of a Photoshop lesson for one of my classes at Sessions College for Professional Design. For version 2.0, I used custom brushes to get the disintegration effect I was aiming for on version 1.0 (but despite the praise I got for version 1.0, I feel like it sorely missed the mark). Version 2.0 is so much closer to what I had envisioned a couple years ago. Thanks for taking the time to look at this piece. I hope you enjoy.
