Pomelo Bistro
Pomelo is a new restaurant in the heart of the Old Town in Gdańsk, Poland. Positive,
family atmosphere and variable due to day time menu - these are the main features of Pomelo.
How to show that something is 'all-day changing' but 'trustworthy' and 'stable' at the same time? I decided to split the logo on three syllables like three parts of a day - morning, afternoon and evening.
Branding is based on variability and word-formation based on the three syllabes. This approach gave a lot of chances and ways for advertising campaigns in the future.
Pomelo is also a homonym of a fresh citrus and a slang word for 'afterparty'.
I created a bank of words and slogans from each part of the name PO-ME-LO and then I used them in opening campaign and for system of special offers.
