painting - a zone for the the unknown and glimpses of inspiration.
These works with people in the midst of life is part of my project "Blind Chance" where I use found images and re-use them as starting points for paintings. Although most of the original motifs are photographic the end result is something else. In this transformation form original to painting i am open for unnown encounters with materials and sudden inspiration, a zone where anything can happen...
My work is manually executed with fluid watercolor and acrylic paint.
