Cantus
Visual identity
Cantus is the Norwegian women's choir who feature on Disney’s Frozen movie soundtrack.
My role was Art Director for their new logo and visual identity, while working at communication agency Headspin.
Irene Holmen Skanke (also Art Director at Headspin at the time) was part of the core team. Irene and I worked together to build Cantus' new brand.
The first design element is based on the notes of their song "Vuelie" (from Frozen original soundtrack). The notes are substituted with small illustrations of birds to represent the grace of Cantus' signing.
The second design element is based on a sound wave to underline the power of Cantus' sound. The sound wave illustration is built on the names of the choir members.
