BRIEF
Designing an electric hand tool whose main function was to cut.
CONCEPTUAL PROCESS
How it works
The product has two different parts. One to hold all the electric systems and which is going to be holded by the user. And another one with a tiny milling machine, which would rotate around the main part, making the hole. The electricity is driven by a circular copper system with two brushes, so there’s no wire to be bundled. Inside the arm that links the two parts, there is a spring wire.
Materials
The cases are made of PA6 (Nylon 6) and the buttons in ABS. The dust container is made of polycarbonate. The extensible arm, the milling machine suport and the rotation system axis are made of steel.
