United States Currency Redesign

This project was to recreate the United States currency to be more appealing, modern, and accessible. The theme of the bills are United States battles, honoring American history and routes. The wars featured are: The Revolutionary War ($10), The American Civil War ($20), The First World War ($50), and The Second World War ($100). The wars were selected for their values based on chronology. Each bill features a trendy gradient, security bar, embossed stars, and proper serial numbers and somewhat mimics the trends of foreign currency. The engraved images are from the United States government database. They were chosen to represent a minority not honored during the times, such as women during the Revolution and the First World War. They are not meant to be a political commentary, but an acknowledgement of the unseen truths of American history. Other features include official seals, the years of war, and the phrase "America the Beautiful."
