GBS Enterprises, a company providing furniture and mattress protection products, has helped customers enjoy peace of mind for more than three decades. Dedicated to supporting its community, GBS Enterprises is involved with more than a dozen foundations and charities, including Homes for the Holidays (HFTH).

HFTH is a program maintained by Warrick Dunn Charities, an organization that helps families thrive socially, academically, and economically. Warrick Dunn created HFTH in 1997, the first year he played in the NFL, to continue his late mother’s dream of helping single parents become first-time homeowners. Since its establishment, HFTH has provided homes to more than 150 families in Tampa, Florida; Baltimore, Maryland; Dallas, Texas; and a dozen other markets.

Through HFTH, single-parent families who are disadvantaged have a chance to receive help when buying their first home. A homeownership program or Habitat for Humanity affiliate selects eligible families for the program. These families commit to obtaining financial stability and independence through homeownership, and participate in education, financial literacy, and nutrition programming.

Families selected for HFTH receive down-payment help for their new home. They also receive food, and furnishings for their entire house.
