Upon my return from Iceland, I was feeling incredibly inspired! I was surrounded by natural beauty and scientific wonders, such as the black sand beaches in Vik, near the Katla volcano. 

I decided to create an image of Iceland (using their map) out of the sand. Thus, discovering a form of art where the subject matter is made from itself.
