HINTABIRKA

Felt is made of wool with the same technology as they already used in ancient cultures. This material symbolised the symbiosis between human and sheep. Even so we can buy it today in rolls per metre.

I strove to evoke the narrative of the origin of felt usage, to tell to the people what is felt really. It is pleasant, environment-friendly, resource-friendly and natural.

The HINTABIRKA which means swingsheep in Hungarian is the source of a still and ancient calmness and of a lively atmosphere. Looking at its magical appearance it is not a surprise that It has won the ITT NEMEZ VAN competition in July of 2017.
