Why do we get called out to adventures? What's so worthwhile and meaningful of going into the unknown and overcoming challenges that hold great risks and even greater rewards? On this day I had this call to adventure; calling me to skateboard down this gnarly steep and dust covered hill. Standing on the top of the hill looking down I would often ask myself why I would attempt this and is this worth the risks. For me the movement of skateboarding by controlling myself with grace in dangerous situations gives me great meaning.
