Estrella World Street Food brand identity
I wanted this logo to be contemporary, vibrant and to really reflect the energy of the Estrella restaurant which is a colourful bright place where also colourful and bright dishes of 'eggs cooked in every way, pancakes, burgers, pasta and fresh juices' are being served all around you. So I created a female character with a royal-like but also chef-like outfit and an edible hair crown, referencing the Japanese cartoons with the big eyes and exaggerated outfits.
The first Estrella restaurant opened in the city center of Thessaloniki and since then it managed to attract worldwide attention by serving an all day breakfast & brunch menu and open several branches across Greece and Cyprus. The uniqueness of the Estrella restaurant has been described in numerous articles in the press, some of the publications include The New York Times, Saveur Magazine, the National Geographic and the Guardian.
