The Penguin Random House Student Design Award is an design competition for students aspiring a career in publication design. Standout cover design is an integral part of the success of a book and Penguin Random House has created thousands of iconic book covers throughout the years. This year the competition had three creative briefs for three iconic books -- Animal Farm by George Orwell, A brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking and Noughts and Crosses by Malorie Blackman.
