Starbucks Turkish Coffee Set is designed in 2017. The project was created with the participation of Kutahya Porselen and Tasarım Üssü.

The project aims to break the perception of "Starbucks is good at expresso bean coffee, but they can not make Turkish Coffee."

Starbucks worked with Turkish Coffee Culture and Research Association and research results show that Turkish Coffee is not about what kind of coffee bean you use, but it is about how you grind, roast and make the coffee.

As a designer, I aimed to mix the Starbucks brand identity and Turkish Coffee culture on the set. The design is formed with modern lines with the logo relief but Starbucks visitors still can feel orientalist side of Turkish culture on the handle of the cup.  Also, the visitors can get Turkish Delight, water in a glass and they can experience entire ritual of Turkish Coffee.

Starbucks Turkish Coffee Set design gets "Good Design Award" in Design Turkey 2018.
