The Star Wars series employed hundreds of industrial designers. The science fiction movies propelled to fame for various reasons - special effects , a great story line and for being a visionary film far ahead of its time. Our class project brief required us to design a movie prop for any science fiction movie, with the prop having an outcome or change in the film. I have designed a flying droid which acts as an aid in communications for jedi's. The droid is named holocore, it is meant to produce a holographic image from its center of the communicator at the other end.
