CONTAKEY

December 2017
Personal Project
The compartment for the right eye lens has a mirror on the lid.
The left side compartment is indicated by an ‘L’ on the top.
People who use contacts know this situation very well :

You go to a friend’s house to hang out. Order a pizza and start watching something on Netflix.....
and before you know it, it’s 1 am !
Your friend tells you to stay the night and you think,
“ Great! Now I don’t have to walk home or hurry to get the last bus. I’lljust sleep here. “
And then it hits you. You’re wearing your contact lenses and you didn’t bring the case or solution with you.
So you  have 2 options : go back home at 1 am at night because you didn’t bring your freaking contact case. Or, you can throw away your monthly disposable contacts 4 days after you started using them and sleep over.
After some thinking, you decide just sleep with your contacts on so you don’t have to throw them away. What’s the worst that could happen anyway right ? (Cornia damage, permenant loss of vision, swelling, conjuctivitis, etc)
This situation wouldn’t be a problem if your contact case was always with you.... like your keys.

Thus the Contakey was born.
You keep the case filled with solution, so if ever such a situation occurs, you don’t have to be a slave to your lenses.

Plus you have a case full of liquid with you at all tiimes, so if ever your  contacts start bothering you or something goes in your eye, you know you can take care of your eyes without having to throw out you contacts.
