Inspiration: a Japanese kimono made in the mid-20th century from textile museum of Canada
I dyed the fabric using peach and pink acid dyes to create an ombré, and transferred the plum blossom motif into the scarf by using traditional devoré technique. Devoré is a technique that can create a semi-transparent effect. The design is a half drop repeat.
