Ushabti were funerary figures crafted to serve their masters in the afterlife as labourers, farmers and servants.

Carved out of recycled mahogany these figures are inspired by the shared mythologies of Ushabti that appear in different ancient cultures from around the world.
Each figure (approx. 1" tall) was photographed individually, on a wooden base and placed into a sequence in after effects.
