Unstable is a laptop’s support designed to help people, who daily spend a lot of time working on a laptop, to control their working sessions. 

IDEA

The idea came from a personal and daily experience, all of us is used to stare at the screen for many hours losing the track of time, but for our health, especially for our eyes and back, this is not good at all. In fact, there are work policies that say you should have a 15 minutes break every 2 hours of work. 

DATA

Rescue time is an application which allows you to track the time you spend using a computer.You just need to register and create your account online for free. You can use the same account at home, at the of office and at the university.

Rescue time sends an input to Photon board through wi- signal every 30 minutes. Every signal that the board receives, activates a step.

Step 1: Sound + 1 LED on

Step 2: Sound + 2 LEDs on

Step 3: Sound + 3 LED on

Step 4: Sound + 3 LED blinking and the board loses the balance

RESULT

Unstable has the aim to make you realize when it’is time for a break, making you impossible to keep working. This happens because after 2 hours the 4 servo motors change the position leaving the computer standing on one single point in the middle.
