Palmer Media Stand

This table is made from reclaimed barn wood and metal pipe fitting. The client wanted the metal and wood look, but also wanted to piece to be flexible as their entertainment needs changed over time. As a solution, the shelf in the middle is adjustable to accommodate a variety of devices from stereo receivers, to gaming devices or speaker bars. 

Process Photos

The first photo is what the wood looked like when I first received it. The client wanted the worn look, but also wanted a nice finish. With a light sanding and some planing, I was able to make a beautiful table top with a dark walnut stain.
