Completing the sound editing for this clip from the French film The Triplets of Belleville marks my first foray into the world of sound for animation. I thoroughly enjoy the idea of creating a sonically immersive environment for a world that is not our own. From manipulating the clicks of a plastic lever to fit believably as a rusty weather vane to tuning the rain and wind to establish mood, I was able to overcome challenges to create an emotionally atmospheric final product.
