These two images have been commissioned by Chenelière publisher, to illustrate a magnificent  poem of Natasha Kanapé Fontaine, a Native American writer from the Pessamit community on the East Coast of Canada.

This poem entitled "Migration" is taken from the "Bleuets et abricots" collection ("Blueberries and apricots"). The writer talks about an aboriginal woman who comes to take back her land, her culture and her rights.

The first illustration leans on a passage of the poem where the autor talks about her grandmothers ancestors and their secrets of herbal tea.
