Slon Tea Company

“Slon” Company distributes and sells over 300 sorts of tea from all over the world – China, Japan, India, Ceylon, Vietnam, New Zealand, Nepal, Kenya, and Java. We helped the company to develop its new corporate brand — positioning, visual identity and website interface.
Analytical work resulted in positioning “Choosing the best. Helping you tea business to grow”. This means that the company not only distributes tea but also offer tea business consulting services — popularizes tea culture and help its partners with assortment and sales.

We renewed an elephant, company’s logo and mascot, to make it more laconic and expressive.

In order to enliven the company’s identity we added real emotions to the logo — the elephant has a couple of variations with expressions of surprise, confusion, shame and happiness. Logo variations are used depending on the context.

“Wondertea company” descriptor communicates wide assortment and a level of service that you probably will not find in any other tea company.

Brand identity’s style reminds of the era of great geographical discoveries when Europe has tasted tea for the first time.

We wanted to highlight the company’s long list of tea sources so we drew a stylish map with cities, regions and provinces where “Slon” tea is produced. The elements of the map are used as pictograms and backgrounds for decorating various surfaces and media.
Minimalistic white package rich with high contrast details communicates the idea that a good tea taste needs time to unfold.

The company in its catalog, website and many other brand communication materials already uses new visual identity.
