Breast Cancer Foundation Campaign – Coming of Age

Challenge: Life begins at 18, and so do the risks. Yet not many know breast cancer can affect girls who are coming of age.
In fact, cancer is the last thing on a young girl’s mind, and so are breast self-exams.

Insight: Habits formed at an early age are formative. If young women adopt breast self-exams early in life,
they are likely to keep the habit as they grow older. Helping them enjoy more of what life has to offer.

Solution: With the coming of age comes certain freedoms, and certain risks. To connect the freedom of becoming a woman
with the health risks of being one, we created topical posters for youth touch points, catching our audience’s attention at the right times.

Our posters go wherever our young audience goes: Fitting rooms • Movie posters •
Driving schools • Washrooms at bars/pubs • Public smoking areas • Lifts at relevant establishments

Awards:
Creative Circle Awards
D&AD Graphite Pencil (Press Advertising)
