Licht aus!
The course „and suddenly I realised“ was based on the task of building a playful project for children with educational substance.
„Licht aus“ (lights out) is the concept of a digital game and at the same time an interactive dollhouse. The tablet is combined with a little box that adds a third dimension to the game experience, which is intensified by a set of different room cards, that can be switched. Every room can be explored by opening the small doors on the card and tapping on the sreen.

The game concept is simple and works without a narrator. By switching off the little light bulp hanging inside the box, the lights in the digital room also turn off. In the dark play mode, the child is able to look for the monster and find out that there is nothing to be afraid of. Contrary it can make a new friend.
