Wildfires in the summers of 2014 and 2015 devastated the economy of Okanogan county in Washington state. My firm, Community Attributes Inc, was selected to provide an analysis of the effects and create a long-term recovery plan for the communities within the county. Our team built a website to provide accessible updates and encourage public participation through an interactive map. Residents were able to pin a location on the map and add a comment with their concerns and ideas.
