The Sports District is a Twitter account I run that live tweets many games for the Nationals, Capitals, Wizards, and DC United and accompanying those tweets are a series of graphics. As is customary for the account, it is out with the old and in with the new for the summer sports. Drawing inspiration from the winter's Metro theme, I stuck with a theme to pay homage to DC's unique transportation infrastructure. Overlaying photos of famous landmarks in the city is Washington's unique street map. And displaying the information in the form of hexagons comes from the Washington Metro's hexagonal floor tiles.

These graphics are used interchangeably for both teams
