The logo design for a private school of foreign languages “Americana” was created by me in 2012. I had an aim to develop the logo which will reflect the kind of activity of the school, accessibility to anyone interested in beginning foreign language lessons regardless of their age and aims.
As the basic idea I have chosen the following slogan: What is school? School is all those people who study or work in it: all sorts of people of different age, aims, views and experience, but people who complement one another as pieces of the puzzle. In the process of logo creation I decided to depict the flags of countries which languages one can learn in that school. All the above mentioned is considered to be a reflection of Americana School.
Дизайн логотипа для частной школы иностранных языков "Americana" был создан мной в 2012 году. Передо мной стояла задача разработать логотип, который бы отражал деятельность школы, доступность обучения для всех желающих не зависимо от возраста и целей обучения.
В качестве основной идеи я выбрал следующий слоган: "Что такое школа? Школа - это люди. Люди, различающиеся по возрасту, целям, взглядам, но дополняющие друг друга как фрагменты пазла. Далее так как данная школа осуществляет обучающую деятельность иностранным языкам было решено в концептуальной схеме изобразить флаги стран, чьи языки преподаются в этой школе. В итоге можно сказать что всё это и есть школа иностранных языков "Americana".
The logo "Americana" has been originally developed in 2 variants. The main variant is used where the explanation in the Russian language is not required. The second variant vice versa, where the explanation is required or when it is used for example for outdoor advertising, on a web-site and in some other cases.
Логотип "Americana" имеет 2 варианта отображения. Основной вариант используется там, где
пояснения на русском языке не требуется. Второй вариант, наоборот, там где необходимо пояснение или, например, в наружной рекламе, на сайте и в ряде других случаев.
