Iguana Watercolor

Line Tracing and Colouring
3 months to finish this beautiful Iguana!
This was my first time using the a Lightbox to create outlines of an animal based on a printed photograph and then water color it. Once I got it finished I scanned and sharpened a bit and just add some saturation. Finally, just to make it even more fancy, I just used one of these free psd mock ups to put it on a picture frame.

Here's the result, hope you like it.
I'm sorry author of this photograph. I couldn't find who took it. I just picked it from this website:

This is the final artwork, digitalized and with a bit of post work and retouches.
This is how it looked on a simple template.
Some details of the Iguana's eye, details that took me a lot to get right. the idea was not using the black water color.
Some other details here of the skin and the dorsal spines.
And finally, just like if it was ready for an art gallery the mock up of my baby on a picture frame.
Any feedback is appreciated. Thank you very much for watching.
