The Moon is like Hope.
It takes different shapes every time; full, half, crescent. You can see it today, but it might hide tomorrow — on some nights, it follows you wherever you go. Most of the people take its shine for granted. They march on that moonlit path without looking up for the source, and thought that it will stay that way forever. Blessed are those who see & search for its beauty every night, who is still charmed by it like a child. For when the days are dark, they remember its shine. For they all know very well, that The Moon is always there, and its shine will reach them eventually.

Moonlit is an original series of 4 watercolour paintings, expressed from a series of thoughts. I always admire the moon. There is something so incredibly mysterious & charming about it. Like a child, I always look up and check if it's a crescent, or a full moon tonight. I've always been inspired by celestial objects, mostly the night scene, stars, moon— it creates a feeling of longing for something beyond us. Maybe these objects are created for that purpose as well; to remind us that we are mere human living in this planet. We are only a dot, compared to this vast universe.
That reminder always brings me to my ground every time.
