The assignment started by choosing an "everyday hero" – in my case, the hero was curiosity. I wanted to find a way to make people curious through something they use every day, so I decided to create a set of coasters. Each coaster is screenprinted and contains an interesting fact, making the audience curious, and accompanied by an eye-catching illustration.
Each complete set was printed 8 times, making a total of 96 coasters. First the illustration was printed, so the fact covers it partially afterwards. The last step was printing the logo on the back of the coaster, in the color matching the typography on the front. A small brochure accompanies the coasters in each set, explaining the purpose of these colorful and interesting "fun fact" coasters.
