In this portion I learned a lot about myself and the passing of time. I learned that no matter what you have planned for a performance piece, it may not always go how you planned it in your mind. Time will not always wait for you.

In this portion I learned a lot about myself and the questions have about the world around me. I learned to appreciate performance art and see how it can take a very conceptual form. I learned to really love performance art during these exercises. They taught me things about myself and my abilities to do artwork, and they taught me about my classmates as well.

In this portion I learned to think fast and to go with my gut when it comes to performance art. I feel like I really get in my head and overthink things when performing and tell myself that maybe it's too complex or not complex enough. But I learned that if it's something you're interested in or really care about, it'll matter and move your audience. If your performance  piece is vague, the audience will interpret it with their own meanings.

I learned in this portion my true strength and abilities when it comes to doing art, that doing something that is fearful to you, can really impact and move an audience and what they think about you. It can personally change you and can impact the audience and change how they see you.

Synopsis:

I learned so much about myself through this class. I learned about my creative ability and how far I can allow myself outside of my comfort zone. I also learned a lot about others and working together as a team. I think an important aspect of art is learning how to work with others. Overall, I'm happy with how this class ended up. I'm happy that I could broaden my horizons more and venture into different art forms outside of painting and drawing. At first I was pretty stubborn about learning other forms of art but now I realize it's healthy and necessary to learn all form of art and also appreciate them for what they are. It's okay to not master every single one obviously, but it's just as important to try them and to learn and grow from that. I learned to be stronger and more confident about my work in this workshop, and that is really valuable to me because I can apply that to many other different skills I've collected over the years. I learned that I really admire and am more interested in performance art than I thought I was. I learned it's okay to come out of your comfort shell a little bit, and do something new that is out of your comfort zone, and even learn to love it.
