Final logo
This is a project for my branding identity class in my first year as a graphic design student at Vancouver Community College. The project was to revive and refresh an old classic boutique hotel and make it relevant to today's hot market—the tech savvy, modern and trend seeking millennial guests.

My inspiration for the logo was vintage hand painted signs. I hand-lettered the word "Gastown" and paired it with a sans-serif to give it a modern feeling with a nod to the past.
