My friend Chae asked me to design a poster for a concert his band was doing. The photography is by ye olde Will Foster. I really like making letters fit together & stuff.

The design for this poster was very much motivated by my heart's need for the Gospel. It is built out of the gospel of Luke.

The design from this poster came out of the Biblical concept of the "Lion of Judah". The illustration itself was done by me, without a graphics tablet (good heavens), using a photograph of a roaring lion as my basis. I used a lot of Rockwell back when I was designing for TBYATH. I don't regret it. I love slab serif fonts... but I probably use more Museo these days.
