Following on from a number of internships, I decided to generate a booklet which documented the different pieces of work I had been involved in at both. As a personal project, I used the opportunity to experiment with bookbinding, and being playful with layout and materials.
Using the calendar design as the main motif throughout, a simple, minimal document which clearly explained my processes and different projects was designed. I decided to hand bind the book myself, inserting sheets of tracing paper to separate the different sections. The overall effect not only reflected my style and attention to detail well, but also mirrored some of the skills and styles I was exposed to during my time as an intern.
