WIP: Time Weaver #ARTWAR2

I thought I'd try to present a project in progress here.
I am taking part in #ARTWAR2 competition with my Time Weaver granny.
I've decided to start with the concept of a character first, I find it a little bit easier to move on to a final illustration after I've sorted out the looks.
Here's the sketch of a Time Weaver, two versions. I've chosen V1. I haven't decided which side she's on. I see her being able to become a champion of both - Light and Darkness. I'll make more sketches, the character needs some work on the "weaving" part as well. Then I'll solve it in colour and decide before I go for the final illustration.
I've coloured the sketches to see what I can do about picking the side for the Lady. Instead, I realized the whole design is a little bit too "casual". So I'm planning to redo some details which might add more "epicness" to the final picture.
I dwelled on the light scheme. Long sleeves made her look less hipster-ish and I've started to see some potential on the side of epic. So far she reminds me of some sort of Indian setting. I plan to work on a dark side outfit today. Then look at both an maybe change something about the design altogether XD Make, compare, reflect!
I've spent some time working on a dark version of this granny.
I feel V2 or V3 might work, as long as I make a humorous final (and decide on the tights' colour).
Just imagine this cute old lady being really nice to you... and then suddenly snatching all the lifetime you have left after a very polite conversation.
I've also decided to redo the light version, as it obviously depicts the same look with slight variations. I think I need a wider variety there.
Here's another couple of designs for a light version. God, I wish I had those clothes!
