A poster for my manifesto on why minimalism is essential in every design.
This poster was a part of my Culture + Context paper where we were asked to do a short manifesto on what we believe as designers and reflect this view through a designed object. I decided to design and create a pen that reflects my minimalist design views.
Short description:
As famous designers/architects once said "Less is more" - Ludwig Mies, "Doing more with less" - R. Buckminster Fuller and "Less but better" - Dieter Rams. I believe that minimalism is a essential quality to any field of design. Whether it be graphic design, industrial design or media design. It allows designs to become true and honest, leaving out the unnecessary.

The pen I designed and created using 3D printing and then used a lathe to do the finishing touches.
