See&Say is a free porfolio consultation event organised by Marketing Communication Association SKM SAR. Experts meet for 15 minute rounds with young creatives while chosen specialists review portfolios and issue feedback. After the 15 minutes are up the participants move on to the next specialist. Each participant has a chance to speak to an expert they chose, the best participants have a possibility to promote their work in the creative industry.
While designing this year’s campaign we wanted to move the candidates’ imagination by using a simple mechanism often used to communicate ideas. The before/after rule became the key to encourage people to apply. This way we illustrated what was being communicated by those organizing the event – success stories from previous editions, further application deadlines or a series of accompanying lectures. With the help of our campaign the See & Say portfolio review saw a 25% increase in number of applications compared to the previous year.
