EMPEROR CHAMPAGNE
My Role: Director, Art Director and Lead Animator
Back in May 2017, I was fortunate enough to be approached by Passion Pictures Melbourne to direct the introductory launch video for EMPEROR - The first online retailer for Champagne in Australia.
Working closely with EMPEROR, we developed the key visuals that integrated well with EMPEROR branding elements, such as the Napoleon painting as the hero image, grid patterns and the brand colour scheme.
As this is the brand's first video, there's a natural urge to go down an informational path. Therefore there are a few typography shots that cater for this and are carefully designed to still keep the balance between beautiful, powerful and artistic, but also informational.
