- MOMO -
Momo is a German childrens book about a little girl with a gift for listening to people. Grey men appear in the City and people's lifes seem to be more and more filled with only work, stress and speed. Momo follows a tortoise to the place where time comes from. The book beautifully and simply touches on subjects like the appreciation of time, friendship, death, the importance of listening and the challenges of living in a world that is driven by speed and achievements.
These are some examples from my final project at university, making "Momo" by Michael Ende into a Graphic Novel. I used fragments of his original text to go with the images and told the story together with the paintings in a book for my bachelor's project. Here I removed most of the text from the images though.
