Un muy buen camino
Después de hacer el Camino de Santiago con mi pareja, en España, decidí regalarle una baraja de cartas para que recuerde los momentos que vivimos. Aunque la estructura de la baraja es la tradicional de póquer, tiene los palos diferentes: El primero es una concha, símbolo de los peregrinos de Santiago. El segundo es una bellota porque durante el camino encontrábamos muchas en el suelo, ya que hay muchos robles por Galicia. El tercero es el corazón, porque nos enamoramos de cada rincón. Por último, el pulpo porque ¡fue nuestro plato estrella!
After doing with my partner the Camino of Santiago, in Spain, I thought it would be nice to give him a deck of cards as a souvenir of our trip and as a memory of the good moments we had. Those cards have the traditional structure from a poker deck, but with different suits: First, we have a shell, symbol of the pilgrims of Santiago. Second, we have an acorn, because the road was full of them, as there are plenty of oaks in Galicia. Third, we have a heart because we felt in love with every inch of the road. Finally, there is an octopus, because in Galicia we ate a lot of octopus and orujo!
