Artbook project: Món ngon Sài Gòn

This is a watercolor illustration book about street foods in Ho Chi Minh city I have made for my artbook assignment in HCMUFA. I was inspired by the book "Việt Nam miền ngon" by Lê Rin.
At first, for some reasons, I didn't want to spend much time and effort on it so the result is not really nice and neat. But I'm satisfied with it and also received some positive compliment from my mentor.
Hope you enjoy it.

The cover and opening of the book. On the left is flan and tofu, two well-known street foods in HCM.
On the left is savory xôi, which is a favorite breakfast dish in here.
And on the right is stir-fried corn, one of the most famous street foods in Ho Chi Minh city.
Bánh gối which is a dish comes from North of Vietnam but has become a common dish in Sai Gon thanks to immigrants from the North.
Bánh cam or bánh rán is a favorite snack in all regions of Vietnam
Sài Gòn's street foods is not only just traditional dishes in Vietnam, oversea foods are also normalized by people in here and turn them into delicious, cheap, easy to buy street foods.
Milk tea and peach tea maybe are the very first foreign dishes became popular here.
Spicy noodles is suddenly become a trend in 2016 and still a favorite street foods for the youngsters
Among the traditional street foods, people in HCM city has learned to make a lot more dishes from other countries to enrich our culinary culture. With my limited time and skills, I'm not able to illustrate all the delicious street foods in this city. I hope you will enjoy this book and hope it may inspire you to come to Vietnam, to Ho Chi Minh city to find and experience these dishes.
Bon Appétit!
