Salapa is a sans serif font for the lontara script. Salapa is a careful balancing act between the inherent rigidness of lontara letterforms (especially exaggerated in Dutch era type metal) with a more fluid style common in historical handwriting. While designed for Buginese-language texts, Salapa contains various extended characters for languages that historically use the lontara script.
