In the 80s, the psychologist Robert Plutchik reveals his emotional theory through a wheel of emotions. This theory focuses on the relationships that exist between different human emotions and proposes a classification of emotions. It defines 8 primary emotions from which we can obtain all human emotions by associations and by variation of their degrees of intensity. This theory insists on the non-isolable character of emotion. This project provides a visual translation of Plutchik's theory through the creation of an emotional language based on emotional symbols.
Dans les années 80, le psychologue Robert Plutchik dévoile sa théorie émotionnelle à travers une roue des émotions. Cette théorie met l'accent sur les relations qui existent entre les différentes émotions humaines et propose une classification des émotions. Il définit 8 émotions primaires à partir desquelles nous pouvons obtenir l'ensemble des émotions humaines par associations et par variation de leurs degrés d'intensité. Cette théorie insiste sur le caractère non-isolable de l'émotion. Ce projet propose une traduction visuelle de la théorie de Plutchik à travers la création d'un langage émotionnel basé sur des symboles émotifs.
