Concept: The layers of culture are stratifying on each other just like the layers of Earth. This statement is the base of my project for the 'Urban folk' competition. The traditional folk patterns make the base of the hungarians visual culture that's why this natural layer is located at the bottom of the structure. This set of patterns are transforming, simplifying (urbanising) upwards. The plant is living from this ground, it symbolize us, the people who use these sources to make design.
Koncepció: A kultúra rétegei ugyanúgy rétegződnek egymásra, mint a földrétegek. Ebből jött az alapötlet az "Urbánus Folklór" pályázati kiírásra. A régi hagyományos népi minták képezik vizuális kultúránk alapját, ezért ez a mintasor van a rétegek legalján, és ez a mintakészet alakul ~ urbanizálódik, egyszerűsödik felfelé haladva. Mi pedig amikor designt csinálunk, akkor ebből a talajból, ebből a formavilágból táplálkozunk, ezt jelképezi a növényke.
