There are the result and some work stuff from the renovation project of HROMADSKE.UA TV-studio in Kyiv, Ukraine. 
The studio produces both recording and broadcasting video materials.

Working with such studio types the main task is to combine two points of view! First point from an audience and second from the studio stuff crew.  Therefore, developing focuses were on providing aesthetic remotely seen video image as well as on the convenience transformation during live.

The room was separated into two zones - NEWS and TALK by the sound-absorbing curtains.

In the TALK zone has been developed a modular podium. Its purpose is to provide different video shot compositions with sitting and standing persons. 

The NEWS zone made for standing at modular desks in front of a video screen on a Wall. The rough texture of the background concrete wall emphasizes a high-resolution image on the built-in screens. Sharp-angled white glossy desks emphasize the first plan in the video shot. 

Covering system on common walls was developing to provide particular acoustic characteristics. Bohdan Filonov made prototypes of a custom modular acoustic panels. It contains air inside a wooden frame, backlighting on borders and felt finish cover.

Backlighting between the triangular panels protects camera shots from black "caves" on exposition.
Sliding glass system with photo filters on it allows to broadcast studio with clear panoramic view from windows on background during daylight. 

Dynamic transformation of the studio zones allows simultaneous performing of two programs, with live interaction.

The whole project was created just on 82 square meters on 13th floor of Soviet administrative building. As a result, we managed to create a variable space that meets the requirements of the HROMADSKE.UA team and their audience.
