Deutsches Historisches Museum is Germany’s national historical museum located in Berlin’s historic district of Mitte with over one million visitors per year. The refinement of the brand was aimed at increasing the museum’s visibility as an open space for exploring, teaching, and discussing history in a confident and vivid way.
Based on the logo, the identity conveys the idea of the museum in its diversity and multiperspectivity, presenting german history with all its facets and dimensions. Thoma+Schekorr were commissioned with the entire identity process and I had the pleasure to work on the logo concept.
