For my final year project I created a Zoetrope. My theme was procrastination. A Zoetrope is a device you set on top of a record player, one uses a strobe light and matches it to the speed, every time the light flashes you get a glimpse of an image. All these images compile together to make an animation. The concept is that procrastination is a cycle you get sucked into, you know the ending but you still watch and play.

The animation I created was a girl daydreaming slowly falling asleep then waking up. Behind her is the things she's day dreaming about. These things are also things you procrastinate with. Such as the daisies, I was inspired by daisy picking. Also cloud watching or another interpretation is her head is in the clouds. In a way this is an interactive piece so the viewer in return is the procrastinator.
